Since 2012 we have extended our measurement and control technology portfolio by the pressure switches and sensors of FEMA!

The brand "FEMA by Honeywell" provides us with reliable and innovative products in the field of pressure measurement technology and temperature measurement technology.
The product range includes (differential) pressure switches for liquids and gases, universal and vacuum switches, pressure monitors, as well as pressure limiters. ATEX approval is also available for these products. Furthermore, the program includes pressure/temperature transmitters as well as thermostats for industrial ventilation and air conditioning, but also flow monitors and solenoid valves.

In addition to the approval for explosion-proof areas, you can also use the switches for applications up to safety class SIL 2.

In the field of metallurgical refinement, metals are hardened in vacuum furnaces, for example. The requirements for the switch are safety relevant and in the SIL 2 range. With the pressure switch, safe operation of the vacuum furnace is possible, as it is vacuum-proof and simultaneously monitors the maximum pressure of 12 bar.

The pressure switch is used to monitor the pump. If a preset pressure is exceeded, the pump is switched off. With SIL 2 approval, the pressure switch prevents pipelines and tanks from bursting.

For use on compressors for gas compressor stations the pressure switch Ex-DWR6 as well as the EX-DWR25 can be used. For this type of mechanical pressure monitoring, the switches must be designed accordingly explosion-proof.
