The STA800 is part of Honeywell’s SmartLine product family used for the continuous and precise measurement of fluids and gases. The powerful absolute pressure transmitter with piezoresistive sensor technology can be used in a variety of different applications and is particularly suitable for highly demanding process environments.

Its main advantage: Thanks to on-chip pressure sensing and static pressure and temperature compensation, the transmitter provides high accuracy and stability over a wide range of application pressures and temperatures.

Application areas

Leak detection: Based on a pressure change method, the absolute pressure transmitter STA800 detects leakage regardless of atmospheric conditions. If the pressure exceeds a certain threshold value, the leak is displayed at the respective piping section.

Vacuum applications: The transmitter can also be used for pressure measurement in vacuum pipe systems.
