UDC2800 - the new PID controller from Honeywell

Higher accuracy, faster configuration, user-friendly interface: Honeywell's new UDC2800 PID controller helps you improve control over your business processes and costs. As a unique stand-alone device, the controller offers a wide range of benefits and innovative features.

Especially in demanding environments, the intelligent solution is used for temperature control and thermal applications. For example, in the aerospace, pharmaceutical, glass, food and beverage industries.

From now on, the PID temperature controller UDC2800 can also be found in the product portfolio of A. Hock!

Replacement for the UDC3200 and UDC2500 PID controllers

The new UDC2800 controller replaces the UDC3200 and UDC2500 while combining their functionality into a single solution. It also offers improved performance, simplified maintenance and inventory management. The PID temperature controller is fully backward compatible and retains the form factor and layout of the previous Honeywell devices.

Advantages of the UDC2800 at a glance:

  • Improved control: The PID controller is 40% more precise, with an accuracy of 0.15%.
  • Detect trends: With a sampling speed of 100 ms, trends can be detected up to 40% faster.
  • Time savings: Duplicating configurations is possible in seconds with advanced Bluetooth connectivity and IOS app.
  • Intuitive design: the UDC2800 provides a better overview of data through the full-color TFT display.
  • Energy efficient: The PID control device saves up to 10% of energy.

Versatile input selection and remote connectivity.

With up to 64 setpoint segments and four PID sets, the UDC2800 supports a number of standards: RTD, TC, mV, mA, and RH. Two universal analog inputs also add flexibility.

Remote connectivity with Chamber-IQ allows data to be accessed remotely. Since on-site presence is not required, travel time and costs are thus saved.
