Absolute pressure transmitter for high demands

The STA700 transmitter of Honeywell’s SmartLine product family is suitable for monitoring, control and data acquisition. The absolute pressure transmitter is based on piezoresistive sensor technology, providing high accuracy and stability over a wide range of application pressures and temperatures. This is possible thanks to on-chip pressure sensing and static pressure and temperature compensation.

Honeywell’s STA700 pressure transmitter is a competitive replacement for most transmitters and particularly suitable for complex process environments.

Application areas

Leak detection: Independent of atmospheric conditions, the absolute pressure transmitter STA700 provides leak detection based on a pressure change method. If the pressure exceeds a certain threshold value, the leak is displayed at the respective piping section.

Vacuum application: The transmitter can also be used for controlling vacuum pumps by way of pressure measurement in pipe systems.
