Determine former Honeywell control valve series

The following article describes how to interpret the nameplates for the Honeywell control valves (now Hock control valves).
On this scheme you can see the factory provided nameplate for the Honeywell control valve series S600, series S800-30, series S800-14/20 and series S2000

Nameplate examples of different Honeywell control valve series:

Honeywell control valve type K21 now Hock series 2000 control valves

Honeywell control valve type A12 means series 600

Field 1: Flange and nominal pressure (Fl. / Rate)

• Nominal pressure dimensioned for the flange  (Independent of the nominal pressure allowed by the body)
• Honeywell control valves without flange, butt welding nominal pressure of the body

Examples:
Fl. / Rate = ANSI 300 > Flange and body dimensiond for ANSI 300
Fl. / PN = 40 > Flange and body dimensiond for nominal pressure 40
 

Field 2 Type (Most important field to identify the control valve type)

• First, second and seventh digit of the specification number
  • Type K21 = Honeywell control valve series S2000 (Today Hock Series 2000)
  • Type A11 = Honeywell control valve series S600
  • Type H21 = Honeywell control valve series S9000
• Control valves that do not have a specification number are identified by „custom“

Field 3: Characteristic curve and plug shapes (Cv)

e.g. Cv 47% C

Field 4: Body material (Body Mat.)

e.g. 1.4581 or GS - C25

Field 5: Packing (Pack.)

Field 6: Trimming- material (Trim. Mat.)
